● The Bluetooth Drafting Guidelines have been updated and released as v9. This is a maintenance release, focusing on editorial changes, including the following:

  • Updating references
  • Clarifying unclear instructions
  • Correcting inconsistencies
  • Updating formatting

Thunderbolt|Feb.

● If the hosts have multiple GPUs via DP MUX, the additional tests will be required for certification test:

EV:
Second source configuration – Full DP EV TX tests according to TBT certification with the exception of preset calibration and TX EQ.

FV:
Second source configuration – Run 3.3.1of the display section  in Generic_Thunderbolt_HOST_Functional_CTS_Rev2.1.

USB|Feb.

● The ASMedia USB4 Known Good Device  (ASM2464 PD) is added for testing USB4 PCIe Tunnelling capable products.

● The new Macbook Pro 16-inch Apple M4 Max chip is added to the USB4 Interoperability known good products.

● The new Macbook Pro 16-inch Apple M4 Max chip is added to the USB Type-C®/Power Delivery Interoperability known good products.

● Wi-Fi Alliance Asia Member Meeting

● Forward compatibility conformance testing become to mandatory

  • Beginning January 31, 2025, all new tested devices must support Forward compatibility for both AP and STA.

Wi-SUN|Feb.

● Wi-SUN FAN 1.1 Certification is coming soon.

  • The first FAN 1.1 vendors are set to be certified in Q1 of 2025
